Boat Cinema is LA’s first movie experience from your own personal mini boat. Expect a magical night in one of the most stunning settings in Los Angeles with food, drinks, music and even pre-show fun on the Boat Cinema Beach.
Thirty minutes from DTLA, Castaic Lake is a bustling lake environment with boaters, water skiing, long stretches of gorgeous beaches and camping. Boat Cinema will drop you into a world that you will only get here.
Reserve a mini electric boat, a party boat float or you can even roll up in your own boat after a day on the lake. Pack a picnic or we can have one on your boat prepared for you, but come ready for a summer night on the water with incredible films, food, music and even our one-of-a-kind Canoe Concessions offering boat side service!

🍹 ~Just Announced~ Captains Cocktail Hour will start at 5 PM! Come early and join us for a welcome toast on the beach. The Boat Cinema Beach Bar opens at 5pm on all Boat Cinema dates and is open the duration of the event! The Boat Cinema Beach Bar is a cash bar.

# of Persons must adhere to legal capacity of the vessel
*Quagga Inspection Quagga Tag required prior to vessel entry into water. If you don’t have a Quagga Tag, boat must be completely dry when you arrive.
*The boats must be 100% cleaned, drained, and dry. Do not wash the boat. Do not run the boat on the hose. Do not put ice into the boat until after the inspection. Every portion of the boat will be inspected:
- Hull
- Hull fittings
- Trailer
- Water intakes
- Water outlets
- Exhaust outlets
- Engine compartment
- All storage compartments
- Livewells and ballast tanks if applicable
- The anchor
- All equipment on the boat
All boaters are welcome to obtain an inspection prior to the night of the movie, a re-entry seal will lock the trailer to the boat. If the boat has an approved lake re-entry seal, they can bypass the inspection. Re-entry seals are accepted from the following lakes: Lake Perris, Silverwood Lake, Lake Puddingstone, Lake Nacimiento, Lake Crawley and Lake Tahoe.
