Hello, Santa Monica!
I’m thrilled to introduce myself as the new publisher of Macaroni Kid Santa Monica. As a single mom of three kids—ages 12, 8, and 6 (as of this article)—I can honestly say that becoming part of this vibrant community is an absolute dream come true. The Westside is where we thrive. It’s where we make memories, try new things, and discover the incredible local gems that make Santa Monica, and the surrounding areas, so special.
From the stunning beaches to the bustling downtown scene, and everything in between, there’s always something to explore in this beautiful city. I’ve always loved discovering new activities, events, and hidden spots, and I’m so excited to share our findings with you. Whether it’s a family-friendly restaurant, the parks, or a cool event happening around town, Macaroni Kid Santa Monica will be your go-to source for everything you need to know about living, playing, and thriving in our corner of the world.
As a mom, I know how important it is to have trustworthy resources at your fingertips. Raising three kids in Santa Monica has taught me just how many amazing things there are to do right in our own backyard—and how quickly those “best-kept secrets” can change! That’s why I’m here to help you navigate the ever-evolving landscape of local family-friendly events, activities, and experiences.
We’ll be revisiting some of our favorite spots—those hidden treasures that make Santa Monica so unique—while also exploring exciting new places and events that are popping up. My goal is to make your life a little easier by curating a list of things that are fun, exciting, and, most importantly, family-approved.
