Happy Wednesday! Looking forward to the weekend? Memorial Day means a fun getaway for some or a "staycation" for others, but whatever you do be safe and have fun!
I've been recovering from my weekend, which consisted of a restaurant opening (read the review here) and K.A.M.P. (see photos here) and the U2 concert, which was a blast. At the same time, I worked hard all week putting together a Summer Camp Guide for 2017 (you can also get ideas for camps for your 2018 summer). If you are like us, you still have a couple weeks of summer unaccounted for, so this list has some great ideas. Some of the camps are even offering discounts to Santa Monica Macaroni Kid subscribers so be sure to mention where you saw the ad. This morning, I stopped by The Pump Station & Nurtury to plan some upcoming events with them and Santa Monica Macaroni Kid. It's been about four years since I've been there and they have so many new things going on, including a Postpartum Doula Service, PlayCreations Kids, and Melody Day Music & Play with Paulie Z. Of course, they still have the Mommy and Me classes, Baby Care 101, a Grandparents class, Infant Massage, Sleep for Babies, Know your Rights and a class I would have loved....Coping with Preschool Panic. I'm so excited to work with The Pump Station to plan some great events for all of you in their new Toddler Room. If you haven't been there in a while, go and check it out as well as the new SNOO and the Aden&Anais blankets exclusive to The Pump Station. I don't have a little one (baby) anymore, but I saw things I totally wanted to buy and give as gifts to friends who are "new moms".
