I am a winter Olympic fanatic. I guess it’s no surprise: I started skiing at age 3 and grew up idolizing Nancy Kerrigan. Over the years, I’ve raced down the Olympic bobsled and luge courses at the Utah Olympic Park, jumped off the K20 ski jump and cheered for countless freestyle, Nordic, and ice hockey athletes. During my senior year of college, I spent a semester researching how the Olympic Games stimulate patriotism and, watching the Opening Ceremony live in Salt Lake, will remain one of the most inspiring moments of my life.
