The Early Childhood Parenting Center, located in Santa Monica, has been providing infant and toddler groups to families in the Westside community for over thirty years. Our mission is to empower parents to feel knowledgeable and secure in their parenting choices. Since our inception, our philosophy has been based on two core beliefs: that early attachment for infants and toddlers is essential for normal development, and that the patterns laid out in the first few years of life determine what happens later on, with families as well as children. We apply this philosophy to every parenting group through helping our parents understand the developmental milestones of childhood. Our groups provide support from infancy through preschool and beyond as our parents navigate the road of parenting.
Child development specialists and Masters level Marriage and Family Therapists, lead our weekly groups. Our very high staff-to-participant ratio allows for individualized attention for all our families and we have customized group placement to ensure that our families get the best parenting group experience.
Our dedication to helping families is very serious, while at the same time providing a fun and stimulating atmosphere for the children. Our unique outdoor play area provides plenty of space for our toddlers to run around and have fun with our developmentally appropriate toys, games and art projects. For our families with infants we have an indoor spacious room that can accommodate even the most active of crawlers.

Currently we have openings in the following parenting groups:
Parent-Infant Group:
· Mondays 9:30-10:45 am 2nd Time Moms, 6-12 months Infant Group
· Wednesdays 2:15-3:30 pm Younger 3-6 months Infant Group
Parent-Toddler Groups:
· Monday 18 months Toddler Group- 9:30-11am,
· Tuesday 12-18 months Toddler Group-9:30-11am
· Tuesday 3-5 year olds Toddler Art Group-2:30-3:30 pm
· Thursday 10-14 months Toddler Group-2:15-3:30 pm
· Friday 2 years old Toddler Group-10:30-12 pm
Parents-Only Group:
· Our parents-only group is a discussion-based group that meets on the second Wednesday of every month and is geared towards parents of 3+ year old children.
