At Pamper & Play we believe that EVERY parent deserves a break.
This season we are hosting a holiday party for the mothers and children of Alexandria House, a non-profit transitional residence that provides safe and supportive housing for women and children. These are families that are in the process of moving from emergency shelter to permanent housing.
The party will include snacks, entertainment and gifts for the children at Pamper & Play. While the kids have a blast, the moms will be treated to a mini makeover and massage. Each family will go home with a gift bag for mother and child and a family holiday photo.
We want to show these families that their community cares. So far we have been amazed by the kindness of people that live near and far who want to help. We’d love to keep that momentum going!
If you would like to help set up, clean up or host the party on Sunday December 11 at 3:30, we still have spots open. You can email us at info@pamperplay.com.
If you don’t have time to volunteer, we are also taking donations of new, unwrapped toys, snacks, cookies and beverages for the event. You can drop these off at Pamper & Play anytime before Saturday, December 10th. Pamper & Play is located at 2279 Westwood Boulevard. We are open 10 to 5 Monday-Thursday, 10 to 3 Friday and Saturday. Please include a greeting card with your name and label your donations “Alexandria House.”
You can also donate online HERE. Even $1 will help give these families a memorable holiday and a day filled with cheer. Donation dollars will be spent on party supplies and Target gift cards for the moms so that they can go buy what they need.
